Founded in 2017 by Colorado native Megan Banich, Next Generation Landscapers was built on one belief: landscaping should improve the land, not slowly deplete it. As a Boulder landscaping company, we specialize in regenerative landscaping that restores soil health, increases biodiversity, and strengthens ecosystems over time.

Many landscapes are maintained year after year but continue to decline beneath the surface. Regenerative landscaping interrupts that cycle. Instead of simply sustaining what remains, we rebuild soil structure, support living systems, and create landscapes that grow stronger each season.

We also believe our environmental responsibility extends beyond design. In 2023, we transitioned to battery-powered equipment to reduce noise, emissions, and overall impact on the communities we serve. It’s a practical step that reflects our larger commitment to regenerative and eco friendly landscaping practices.

Our mission is to advance regenerative landscaping in Boulder Colorado through thoughtful design, responsible land care, and long-term stewardship. We implement eco friendly landscaping systems that protect water, support plant health, and reduce unnecessary chemical inputs. Sustainable landscaping maintains balance. Regenerative landscaping improves it.

When landscaping ignores soil biology and ecosystem function, the land slowly weakens. Compaction increases. Biodiversity declines. Water drains too quickly. We take a different approach—one rooted in soil health, plant vitality, and ecosystem resilience.

MEGAN BANICH

Megan Banich grew up in Colorado with a deep respect for its climate and terrain. As a certified landscape designer and advocate for soil health, she blends artistic vision with ecological function to create landscapes that are both resilient and refined.

She founded Magic Beans Landscaping in 2017 to move beyond conventional landscaping methods. In 2021, she expanded that mission with Next Generation Landscapers, focusing on regenerative landscaping for clients in Boulder Colorado who value long-term land health.

Her work centers on soil systems, biodiversity, and practical environmental responsibility. Landscaping, in her view, should leave the land stronger than it was found.
